True Advice #1

Post by owner »

Oh well, I guess if you're starting out in PT/RTO, I wouldn't hold your hand, but a good piece of advice would be to strengthen your coding skills.
Well, sometimes skids on YouTube will tell you not to learn programming — "It's a plus point" — stfu (to those YouTubers).

So, even before you start out, I would recommend picking up one language and getting good enough to script in it.
Some say Python, some talk about Ruby, or some Go/C#, but pick Python if you ask honestly.

Why is it important?
I don't know how the fuck you're good at *web pentesting* when most of the shit given to you is source code.
Or how the fuck you're good at *evasion* when you can't write a simple loader.
Then you're truly just working in a shit company or you're a skid.

It's important to have skills in your pocket — the world has more experts than you.

If you don't agree with me, that's up to you. Most YouTubers have gone to shit when it comes to cybersecurity.
If you don't, that's up to you, dude.

Okay, that's one that you should learn to script or program enough to be good for youself and not a skid.
